Can I use ACC at your clinic?
Yes! We are funded under ACC and can lodge your injury with them via our online system, as long as the injury involves impact through an accident and/or a specific or series of events involving an outside force on your body. Please refer to ACC’s definition of an injury
I have Southern Cross, AIA or other insurance policies, can I use it here?
Yes! We’re Easy-claim Partners of Southern Cross. We can apply for funding to cover your consultations, as long as your have the relevant insurance policy.
Do I need to go to the doctors to get an ACC referral?
No, you can come directly to us and we can provide an ACC application form for you to fill in, then send it to ACC, who will assess the claim and make a decision.
How long is a consultation session?
Initial physiotherapy consultation can take up to 40 minutes, follow ups could be up to 30 minutes, vestibular initial sessions could be up to 1 hour, follow ups could be up to 30 minutes.
Swedish massage therapy is between 30 – 60 minutes depending on the length of service purchased
Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture sessions are 1 hour each
How many sessions would I need?
Our therapists will assess and give you a diagnosis and estimated time-frame for recovery. For example, a standard grade one muscle injury could take around 4-6 weeks with 1-3 sessions per week at the start and wean off the frequency gradually.
What if I am not getting better after a few sessions?
Not a worry, we have extensive resources and connections that we can inquire about and refer you on, these may include sending you to radiologists to get further investigation of the injury, specialists for a second opinion, or pain management specialists to ensure your situation moves forward.
